NTSC VHS. Two-tape set. Slipcover. Extended 'Cannes' Cut.
As opposed to the "presented in letterbox form" mention on the cover, the first batch was produced unmatted (full frame) leading to a recall and withdraw. Also, while the correct tapes have the complete film on tape 1 and the trailers on tape 2 (as mentioned on the cover), the unmatted tapes have the film spanned accross the two tapes with the trailers at the end of the film on tape 2. Released in 10 September 1997 despite the 1996 date on the cover.
From my personal collection. Second Dawn of the Dead item I added to my collection.

Unmatted Tapes I initially purchased in 1996
I can confirm that the correctly matted tapes were also produced with the label printed directly on the cassette but I can't confirm that the unmatted tapes were produced with a sticker label.
